Over the last year, we’ve been testing and tweaking a dive watch for ourselves - we’ve gone through multiple iterations of dials, handsets, engravings and bezel inserts. The watch has been on us every day through training, airborne jumps, Live fires, MLATs and helo casts. It’s also been with us in our daily lives to weddings, pool parties, surfing and making shirts.

Why did we make this?

We’re all enlisted dudes, and unfortunately that puts a Tudor and especially a Rolex into difficult financial territory, especially with a wife and kids. Could we just get a Seiko turtle? Sure. Could we run the trusty F-91W? Yeah. Should I just be a nerd and wear my Garmin 24/7? I can’t bring myself to do it.

I have the Sangin Marauder and I love it - I’m stoked that we finally got our unit watch. However, I’m a watch nerd myself and nothing beats a mechanical movement. I’ve run Seikos for years and trust their heritage, the NH35A is the workhorse movement for a reason.

So we set out to make a unique manual/automatic time piece that we can rock to work and at Meconis on the weekend - something we can witness and wind and connect with over time (and not have to worry about breaking it in a bar fight.) In the end, it’s a tool - we’ve treated it as such and we hope you will too.
